This song has been an amazing reminder of Gods power, his closeness in my life. I was brought to tears knowing that God is moving in our daughter, already. He will move her heart to love him, love others and to be a light to the world.
I believe he will graciously lead us each day to serve her and each other as we become parents.I hope that as we step into this next stage of life, as parents, we become more aware of God's presence, and his desire to have us experience him. I want to wait on God- listen to his leading and calling for each new day that we have. May his love lead us to serve, give and continually lay our lives down for his purposes.
While I wait for my sweet baby Roo, I am reminded that God is not idle or still- He is MOVING!!!
Scriptures I have been meditating on this week:
Psalm
130:5-6 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word do I hope.
My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning -
yes, more than they that watch for the morning.
Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; blessed are all those who wait for Him.
Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
Lamentations 3:26 It is good that one should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Hosea 12:6 So you, by the help of your God, return; observe mercy and justice, and wait on your God continually .
Isaiah 26:8 Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws,[a] we wait for you;your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
